North Texas Land Clearing and Excavation

Clear the Land.
Cut the Road.
Move the Dirt.

Acreage cleared, ranch roads cut in, fence lines opened, water lines trenched, drainage put right. Big jobs and small, we bring the right iron and we answer the phone. Most outfits will not call you back. We will.

Big Jobs & Small We Answer the Phone Licensed & Insured 811 Before Every Dig

Same-Day Callback

Call or send the form and you hear back the same business day. Not next week. Not never.

Photo-Documented Work

Fabric, pipe, slope, backfill. We photograph the work before it gets covered and send you the pictures.

811 Every Time

Utility locates before every dig, no exceptions. Your gas line and water line stay where they belong.

North Texas Local

Owner-operated out of Cleburne. When you call, you talk to the man who runs the machine.

Forty Acres or
Forty Feet.

We came up doing dirt work, and we grew into the big stuff. Now we clear acreage, cut ranch roads, and open fence lines with the same crew that will run a water line to your barn or fix the ditch that keeps flooding your drive.

The big jobs pay the bills and the small ones keep the phone ringing, so we run both. Tell us what you have got. If it is worth doing right, we will quote it fast and put it on the schedule, and when a job needs bigger iron or a mulching head, we bring it in.

What We Do
Dig. Drain. Clear. Clean.

Land clearing, roads, trenching, and drainage across North Texas. Big jobs and small, quoted fast and done right.

Land Clearing & Roads
Land Clearing
Acreage brush and tree clearing with the excavators. We grub it, rake the roots, pile it, and haul it off so it does not grow right back. When a job calls for a mulching head, we rent one and run it.
Ranch Roads & Driveways
New ranch roads and access lanes cut in, long driveways built, and washed-out roads rebuilt. Crown, side ditches, and a sized culvert crossing so the road sheds water instead of washing away every spring.
Fence Line & Right-of-Way
Fence lines and right-of-way strips cleared by the foot, with the end state set before we start: path only, cleared and hauled, or finished and ready for new wire. Priced so you know exactly what you are getting.
Lot Cleanup
Overgrown lots cut back, brush and debris hauled off, the whole thing left clean and usable. Haul-off is part of the job, not a surprise line item after the machine leaves.
Trenching, Water & Digging
Trenching
Water lines, electrical conduit, gas runs, sprinkler systems, EV charger runs, low voltage. We cut the trench to depth, your plumber or electrician does the hookup, we backfill. Priced by the foot, not by the day.
General Excavation
Digging, hauling, and moving dirt for whatever the project calls for. Stock tank work, holes for shelters and tanks, foundation exposure, cut and fill. If it needs a bucket in the ground, call us.
Water Lines & Mobile Home Hookups
Waterline to the barn, the shop, or the back of the property. Manufactured and mobile home water hookups trenched from the meter and connected right, first time. Rural runs are our bread and butter.
Wire & Line Burial
Our remote vibratory plow buries dog fence wire, landscape lighting, irrigation line, and fiber-rated cable with no open trench and no torn-up yard. The service that started this company.
Drainage & Water
French Drains
Done the way North Texas clay demands. Real fabric, washed rock, correct fall, and an outlet that actually daylights. We photograph every layer before it gets covered so you know what you paid for.
Ditch Cleaning & Reshaping
Silted-in, overgrown, or washed-out ditches cleaned, cut back to grade, and flowing again. The job the county keeps promising to get to. We show up this week instead.
Culverts & Driveway Crossings
New culvert installs, undersized pipe replaced, silted pipes cleaned out, washouts armored so they stop washing out. Sized for the water that actually comes through, not the cheapest pipe on the shelf.
Grading & Drainage Correction
Yards that hold water, grades that run at the foundation, low spots that never dry. We reshape the dirt so water moves away from the house, and we check the fall before we load the trailer.

What we do not do

We are not a pad-site builder for tract-home builders, and that is on purpose. We are a land clearing and excavation outfit: we clear, dig, trench, drain, and haul. If a job needs a specialty we do not run, like an engineered building pad, we will tell you straight and point you to someone good instead of faking it.

Why NTX Dig
We Dig It Right
01

We Actually Call Back

The most common complaint about excavation contractors is not price. It is silence. Quotes that never come, crews that never show. Call us and you get an answer the same business day, a real quote, and a firm start date when you book.

02

Built for North Texas Clay

Half the failed French drains in DFW failed because somebody treated our clay like normal dirt. It is not. We spec drainage, grading, and backfill for expansive clay because that is what is under every yard we work in.

03

Pictures, Not Promises

Buried work is easy to fake and hard to inspect. So we photograph the fabric, the rock, the pipe, and the slope before anything gets covered, and you get the photos. If we would not want it photographed, we would not build it that way.

04

Clean When We Leave

No ruts across your yard, no debris hidden under hay, no burn pile you did not agree to. Restoration and haul-off are written into the quote, and we walk the job with you before the final invoice.

05

Small Enough to Care

Owner-operated out of Cleburne. Your job is not getting handed to a sub you never met, and it is not getting bumped for a builder contract. The person who quotes it is the person who does it.

1 Day Maximum wait for a callback on any inquiry, small or large
811 Utility locates called before every single dig, no exceptions
100% Of buried work photographed before backfill and sent to you
$0 Charged for looking at your job and giving you a straight number
The Iron
Sized for the Jobs We Take

Four excavators plus the plow, matched to the work, so a small job never waits behind a big one. When a job needs bigger iron or a mulching head, we rent it and keep moving.

1x
6-Ton Excavator
Twelve thousand pounds of dig, lift, and load. The muscle for land clearing, bigger drainage work, long trenches, and hauling brush and small trees out by the root instead of leaving them to grow back.
3x
3-Ton Mini Excavators
Small enough for tight access and backyard work, strong enough for real trenching and dirt work. Three of them means your one-day job does not wait behind somebody's two-week project.
1x
Remote Vibratory Plow
Buries wire and line with no open trench at all. Dog fence wire, landscape lighting, irrigation line, and fiber-rated cable go underground while the yard stays looking like a yard.

Straight Answers
Questions We Get a Lot
Do you do both big and small jobs?
Both. We clear acreage, cut ranch roads, and open fence lines, and the same crew will run a water line to your barn or fix the ditch flooding your drive. The big jobs pay the bills and the small ones keep the phone ringing, so nothing is too small to quote.
Do you build house pads or do site prep for builders?
No. We are an excavation and dirt work outfit, not a pad site builder. We dig, trench, drain, clear, and clean up. If you need a building pad engineered and built, that is a different trade and we will say so up front.
What does it cost?
Quotes are free and the numbers are straight. Trench work is priced by the foot, not by the day, so you are not paying for a machine to sit. Wire and line burial starts at $350. Everything else gets a firm project price before we start, and change orders get signed before extra work happens, not billed as a surprise after.
Can you hook up water to my mobile home?
Yes. Manufactured and mobile home water hookups are regular work for us: trench from the meter, lay the line at proper depth, and get you connected. Waterlines to barns, shops, and back-of-property structures too.
Do you call 811 before digging?
Every dig, no exceptions. Utility locates get called in before the bucket touches dirt. It protects your gas, water, and electric lines, and it is the law in Texas. If a contractor tells you they skip it, hang up.
Do you do forestry mulching?
We clear the excavator way by default: grub it and haul it so the roots come out instead of getting mulched over and growing back. When a job genuinely calls for mulching, we rent the head and run it. Stump grinding we still leave to the grinder crews.
How fast can you actually get here?
You get a callback the same business day, a real quote fast, and a firm start date when you book. With four excavators in the fleet, most small jobs land on the schedule within days, not weeks. If we are backed up, we tell you the real date instead of a pretty one.
